Customer Service Representative Import
In this role, you will have a critical role in our organization to realize our commitment to our customers for service excellence with personal attention. We strive to continuously improve our own processes and appreciate your critical eye. In addition, a hands-on mentality is needed to raise our service level to a higher level. We are looking for driven, team players who want to work in an international fast-growing company.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- You manage the entire operational flow from booking to final delivery in collaboration with our offices around the world.
- You ensure that transports are organized as efficiently as possible with the best possible service, routing and costs.
- You maintain close contact with our customers, suppliers, customs, carriers, etc.
- You ensure that the operational and administrative handling of shipments are in accordance with the customer's SOPs and international and company regulations.
- You ensure timely and accurate updates of milestones and invoicing to achieve operational KPIs.
- You have an advisory role to customers and offer quick and appropriate solutions to any problems encountered
Qualifications, experience and personal characteristics
- In possession of at least a completed MBO-4 logistics course.
- At least five years of work experience with a freight forwarder
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing.
- Communicative and customer-oriented.
- Accurate and strong drive for perfection.
- Knowledge of CargoWise is a plus.
