We’re looking for an expert User Experience UX/UI Designer! If you have a solid background in UX/UI design for applications and web-based content and you have a positive attitude, we’d love to speak with you.
Daily Duties:
You will primarily collaborate with the product and UX team to create user interaction and interface solutions, systematically test assumptions, gather and interpret user research, iterate on user feedback to improve products, and evaluate them post-launch.
This role works closely with product managers, product owners, and UX architects to explore multiple solutions and iterate our suite of software products, end-to-end user experiences.
Our ideal candidate is conscientious, a tireless user advocate with excellent communication skills eager to craft user-centered interfaces into practical and desirable products.
Responsibilities:
- Balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints, translating them into concepts and functional components
- Understand the value of user experience design and the ability to articulate UX return on investment
- Work with UX researchers to create and conduct immersive user research and usability testing.
- Express and clarify your design vision through scenarios, storyboards, sketches, mockups, prototypes, interaction flows
- Skilled at presenting your design, vision, scenarios, storyboards, sketches, mockups, prototypes, and interaction flows in design critiques and to product managers and owners.
- Ability to produce engaging UI based on “what is possible.”
- Vocal contributor at UX meetings and design critiques
- Iterate, test, evaluate, and iterate again.
- Partner with the UX architect on the creation of detailed design documentation to communicate optimal experience functionality to the development team
Requirements:
- 5 -7 years of experience design experience
- BA/BS degree in visual design, graphic design, Cognitive Science, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
- Complex digital product experience
- Deep experience in Accessibility
- Experience conducting user research and translating user research into design directions
- Excellent written, and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in an iterative (agile UX) design environment
- Ability to develop big ideas and execute them in a highly collaborative environment
- Ability to cut through ambiguity and the desire to organize it
- Portfolio of example work
- Strong interpersonal skills
