About OSK Foundation
The philanthropic arm of OSK Group, OSK Foundation was established to consolidate and further enhance the Group’s on-going commitment towards contributing to the well-being of our community.
The cornerstone of the Foundation’s mission is to seek to create and provide more opportunities via high impact, sustainable projects that can assist, improve and sustain socio-economic and environmental issues within the Foundation’s core focus areas through grant giving, partnerships, volunteerism and programme development.
We also focus on giving time and attention to worthy causes through advocating active volunteerism by our management and employees from our various business units.
The three (3) core focus areas of OSK Foundation are community development, education and environment.
The Role
- Reports directly to CEO of OSK Foundation
- Lead and manage the foundation's operations, including financial management, grant-making, and impact evaluation
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the foundation's mission and vision
- Functioning as the key Foundation liaison in coordinating meetings, deliverable outcomes and ensuring the smooth running of philanthropic and corporate responsibility agenda with various external organisations, Government agencies as well as other relevant stakeholders
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of the foundation's initiatives, and report on progress to the Board of Trustees (via Quarterly reports and an annual Board of Trustees meeting)
- Manage the foundation's budget and ensure the effective allocation of resources (with support from Group Finance)
- Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in philanthropy and social impact
- Work with the various business unit heads to organize and manage charitable and/or volunteering initiatives for the Group
- Preparing official Foundation correspondences (in both English and Bahasa Malaysia)
- Working with Group Corporate Communications team regarding Social Media Postings and relevant media engagements for Foundation-related works
- Any other matters relating to Foundation.
