This is an exciting opportunity where, as a Sales Representative role with in Diabetes business, you will be driving the sales of the products portfolio in the defined geography. As most of the technologies are at an early stage of market development, a key part of this role will be to accelerate the adoption of these innovative diagnostic and therapeutic solutions. For this role, you will be expected to be located in Istanbul, Turkey; a part of TWAL (Turkey, West Asia, Levant) Region.

A Day in the Life


We offer you a position where you can demonstrate your sales skills at your utmost with the combination of your medical know-how and current client portfolio within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to deliver our business objectives.

In this role you define, implement, supervise and drive strategic and operational direction, objectives and targets for the Diabetes in the Istanbul. You are responsible to allocate and utilize Medtronic resources in the most effective way. You need to be able to identify and grow human talent and build/develop a strong, performance driven team to enhance Medtronic’s reputation in the market. We expect you to be an inspirational leader for your sales team and spend time on coaching to get them to a higher level.
  • You will promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • You will be responsible for developing, building and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
  • You will promote and establishe education of the company's products and/or services.
  • You will conduct market research including customers and competitors activities.
  • You will implement market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
  • You will communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing
  • You will prepare all the required background for end-to-end sales process also being exclusively involved in pre-sales processes with the related third parties.
  • You will develop and maintain contact with the KOLs and other health care professionals and ensure the definition and prioritization of customer requirements, through participation in physician organizations, conventions, and other customer contacts to better understand the market and respond to market needs.
Must Haves
  • Biology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Science/Engineering or related field.
  • Maximum of 5 years of sales experience in health-care/device sales, including distributor’s management.
  • Diabetes disease information, experienced in diabetes technologies.
  • Fluent English skills.
  • Medical device sales certificate, Clinical Support Personnel certificate.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Nice to Haves
  • Insight into legal, regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Direct experience interacting and dealing with key opinion leaders and other leading roles in the scientific and clinical community
