The County of Riverside's University Health System - Medical Center seeks a Buyer II to join their Purchasing team. Under direction, the Buyer II will oversee at least 2 large hospital units procurements to include daily requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, and agreements; assist Buyer Is and Buyer Assistants with approving purchase orders over their authority and training; be responsible for purchasing or negotiating to purchase materials, supplies, equipment, and services for use by County agencies, departments, districts, and affiliates; and performing other related duties as required. This position is located in Riverside.
Candidates with previous experience with Peoplesoft 9.1 or Peoplesoft 9.2 are highly desired.
This position has the following schedule: a 9/80 schedule - Monday through Thursday, 7:30am – 5:00pm, non-pay week Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm; Pay week Friday off.
Shift Differentials:
3:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. sixty cents (0.60¢) per hour
11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. twenty cents ($1.20) per hour
**Employees who work day shift between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. shall not be entitled to a shift differential.**
