VIP Ticketing Coordinator [Germany]


 

The job

The main goal of the VIP Ticketing Coordinator (m/f/d) is to support the Guest Relations and Protocol Manager (based at UEFA in Nyon) in the planning and implementation of the VIP ticketing operations for the EURO 2024 tournament. They will be responsible for overseeing the invitation processes, setting up the various ICT platforms, controlling data entry by internal and external stakeholders, implementing the dedicated VIP ticketing system and setting up the change management processes.

List of relevant tasks & responsibilities

  • Assisting with the management of the UEFA’s operational database (FAME) and supporting VIP administration for EURO 2024
  • Assisting in planning the general invitation management process, ensuring they are in line with the overall guest experience
  • Setting up and overseeing all invitations for the tournament and ad-hoc specific events, including monitoring quotas and providing statistics when required
  • Liaising with service providers, such as the transport and accommodation teams, to align processes and information
  • Assisting in developing change management procedures for the tournament
  • Managing day-to-day FAME maintenance and controlling data relating to guest services, ensuring data quality and accuracy in the system
  • Working with various stakeholders to ensure that VIP ticketing requirements are met
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of the dedicated VIP ticketing system
  • Mapping VIP stands and defining target group splits
  • Managing the safe distribution of tickets and access devices across the tournament and for all VIP target groups
  • Acting as a key contact for UEFA/EURO 2024 target groups and their account managers - guest relations coordinators (GRCs) in relation to invitation, ticket management and operating system data entry
  • Preparing and helping deliver training for GRCs and information sessions for other internal and external stakeholders, including the production of relevant documentation
  • Supporting in training and being the point of reference for VIP ticketing questions from the rest of the EURO2024 Guest Services team
  • Preparing post-events statistics
  • Tournament role will be based in the main coordination centre in Frankfurt.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in hospitality management/event management
  • From 1 to 3 years in a guest relations role in event/hospitality management or in ticketing operations with guest service interactions
  • From 1 to 3 years working with CRM systems
  • IT user skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) (Advanced)
  • German & English language skills (Proficient), any other language is an asset
