The role:
We have an exciting opportunity available for a Receiving Supervisor to join our Brisbane team. This is a hands-on role where you will be primarily responsible for stock control, receiving goods, and ensuring an organized and safe warehouse environment. Other duties involve:
- Maintain staffing levels and structure in an effective and efficient manner
- Recruit, manage, train, and motivate staff
- Provide appropriate equipment and racking to ensure the safe transport and storage of all goods
- Monitor the unloading of all goods into the Receiving Department
- Ensure goods are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures
- Oversee the rotation of inventories within the warehouse
- Monitor and measure Receiving and Warehouse performance for accuracy, receiving reporting, movement, and storage of material, and receiving of service parts
- Develop and recommend annual budget requirements for the Warehouse and Receiving Department
About you:
This opportunity is ideal for a results-orientated person with solid experience as a warehouse Receiving Supervisor. You will be a team player and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in similar operations, warehouse, and/or logistics roles within a high-volume warehouse environment
- Previous experience in leading a team to meet and exceed KPIs
- Proven WHS background
- Experience with managing operational budgets
- A forklift license is essential
