This is a critical role that requires collaboration with a diverse set of stakeholders, including front-end developers, back-end developers, field teams. Your three primary responsibilities will be managing and prioritizing the product backlog, translating product managers' strategies to development tasks, and learning the customers' and market's requirements.
To accomplish this, you will work with the product team to manage and document requirements and acceptance of requirements, work with beta customers to test and validate new releases.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to support a cross functional team with the new development of our legacy central filling software for automating pharmacies.
This is a critical role that requires collaboration with a diverse set of stakeholders, including front-end developers, back-end developers, field teams. Your three primary responsibilities will be managing and prioritizing the product backlog, translating product managers' strategies to development tasks, and learning the customers' and market's requirements.
To accomplish this, you will work with the product team to manage and document requirements and acceptance of requirements, work with beta customers to test and validate new releases.


Responsibilities additionally
include

  • Take ownership of product backlog and sprint planning for the legacy system modernization project

  • Work closely with our technical teams to gather and write requirements, develop user stories, and create a roadmap for system updates

  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and a wide range of stakeholders, gathering feedback, translating it into actionable development tasks, and communicating progress and challenges back to stakeholders

  • Prioritize product backlog items based on business and customer impact and communicate these priorities effectively to the team and stakeholders

  • Review and accept completed work, ensuring all solutions meet defined acceptance criteria and adhere to HIPAA and GDPR regulations

  • Facilitate collaboration across diverse, globally distributed teams to ensure clear communication and efficient project progression

  • Drive agile development methodologies, ensuring iterative delivery and continuous improvement

  • Work closely with the UI/UX team to develop customer accepted UIs under latest usability aspects

  • Work closely with the sustaining team to ensure a smooth transition of functionalities from the legacy system to the new developed system


Required Qualification

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment

  • Experience in or ability to leverage Product Management and Development tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Aha!, Rally, Jira or equivalent

  • Demonstrated experience managing diverse stakeholders, including technical teams, field teams, and others

  • Strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development processes

  • In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is a must, fluency in German is a plus

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is a plus

  • Knowledge of HIPAA and GDPR regulations is a plus

According to the collective bargain agreement the minimum annual salary for this position is EUR 54,740 p.a. (IT KV, ST1, Erfahrungsstufe). Based on individual skills and experience, we offer appropriate additional payment.
