Data Analyst [Thailand]

 

Job Description

• Assist in-market data science with adoption and utilization of the Data & Analytics capabilities - covering data onboarding, data quality, data governance, advanced analytics, and data visualization. Develop prototypes from early discovery (static data) to advanced solutions with complex data pipelines
• Apply a variety of visualization techniques, design the content and appearance of data visuals. We currently utilize Spotfire, Power BI and Qlik BI tools
• Regularly collaborate and iterate with business stakeholders to understand business value, processes, decision making, and actions taken based on developed analytics.
• Make recommendations that unveil new business value driven by analytics and reporting capabilities that fit in or even define new business processes.
• Develop a deep subject-matter expertise in the data domains
• Perform analysis of data sources, propose optimal data layers for reporting and description of data transformations for Data Modeling & Engineering team
• Special assignments from company, if necessary

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor degree in statistics, mathematics, scientific, engineering or related field

Languages: Fluent in English (both written and speaking)

Required experience and skills:

• Minimum 2 plus years with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Spotfire, Qlik, Tableau), reporting & analytical principles and SQL / database design. Experience or proven knowledge of business processes and industry/market trends within the pharmaceutical/healthcare space is preferable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, balanced with a creative mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, willingness, and ability to work in a large, multicultural, matrixed global organization
• Self-motivation, enthusiasm, proactivity, and ability to self-organize and work independently with minimum direction
• Knowledge of scripting language (R, Python, Java Script) is an advantage.
