About the role

This is more than a standard accounts payable role. The Publisher Reconciliation Officer works with all parts of the business to ensure full and accurate payment to our publishers.

  • A member of a small payables team and a wider finance group.
  • Works with Client Services, warehouse team and the wider Are Direct business.
  • Ensures accurate and timely payments, which contributes to a healthy relationship with our publishers.

Duties

Duties include:-

  • Monthly cycle of payments
  • Liaison with Client Services to resolve variances and publisher queries
  • Analyse and resolve anomalies in publisher accounts
  • Provide support to the NZ publisher payables team

Skills and experience

  • Experience in accounts payable or other accounting function using ERP
  • Systems include JD Edwards accounting software, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience with large volumes of data or transactions
  • Attention to detail
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management and meeting deadlines
  • Accounting qualification or experience desirable
